Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
The Rwanda Agency for Accreditation and Quality Health Care (RAAQH) is an accredited CPD provider by the Rwanda Medical and Dental Council (RMDC)
The purpose of the CPD policy and procedure is to outline the rationale and the process to be followed for ensuring that surveyors participate in annual Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities and to ensure that these training activities meet the requirements of the International Society for Quality in Healthcare External Evaluation Association (ISQuaEEA).
The CPD training is mandatory for all surveyors (whether they are healthcare professionals or not). All surveyors will be required to obtain a minimum of 15 CPD points annually through training provided by or approved by RAAQH. These credits obtained during RAAQH training may be used towards maintaining their professional registration.
